Storage and Collections Care

Outside of our treatment offerings Costume and Conservation can assist with your collection storage, integrated pest management, and preventive conservation work.

We have assisted previously in projects such as:

-pest mitigation of a collection of over 200 historic rugs

-display consultation for 20th century tapestries

-collection and deaccession surveys at two small collections

-routine cleaning and storage rugs for private clients

-creating a variety of mounts for safe long term storage

-Assisting in the IPM program for a major US museum
