Margaret O’Neil- Owner and Textile Conservator
Margaret graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a BA in History in 2018 and a MS in Textile Conservation from the Winterthur/ University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation in 2023.
She has worked at the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Textile Conservation Lab at St. John the Divine, the Minnesota Historical Society, the National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian, and Glasgow. She has completed contracts with the Penny and Bob Fox Costume Collection at Drexel University and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Margaret has worked on a variety of textile objects including flags, tapestries, samplers, quilts, and rugs but her passion is historic clothing. Not only does she work with historical dress in her conservation studio but also collects antique clothing and creates historical costumes for re-enactments and events.
